The Calahonda region

Calahonda is on the Costa del Sol situated between the vibrant towns of Malaga and Marbella offering easy travel to the beaches along the coast, the amazing white hill towns of Mijas and Ronda, and a little further afield the historic cities of Granada (for the Alhambra) and Cordoba (for the Mezquita)

Calahonda town has plenty of facilities with a great choice of bars and restaurants, a good range of supermarkets and shopping opportunities, banks, and a medical centre.

Calahonda also enjoys a series of fantastic beaches which are now linked by a recently developed boardwalk allowing easy access to a number of Chiringuitos (beach restaurants)

Calahonda also has a number of golf courses and the excellent Club del Sol for tennis players.

The top of Calahonda, where our apartment is located, is ideal for holidaymakers looking for a more tranquil location to get away from it all to unwind and relax.

There are three restaurants offering Spanish, Italian, and Argentinian food, and the great Millenium Bar within a ten minute walk. The centre of Calahonda is a five-minute drive away.
