Relax and holiday in style

We had such a relaxing time. The area is so peaceful and most days we had the pool to ourselves. The apartment is a good size, lovely views and very clean. Everything from the washing machine, dryer and dishwasher which gave me a rest of my daily duties! You need a car and there is a space provided in the underground garage. Bars, restaurants and supermarkets only a 5 minute drive.

 Looking forward to going back for R&R.

This really is a fab apartment which has everything you could need, from fully fitted kitchen/laundry, balcony with built-in bbq and lovely loungers to a cupboard full of beach/pool toys. From initial contact to confirming our booking, Paul & Ashif were very helpful. On arrival, we were met by Kim who showed us how everything worked, etc and made sure we knew how to contact her if needed. The complex is set at the top of a very long & steep hill and a car is essential, but it also means that there are great views and it is so peaceful. It is also very secure and well maintained. There are 3 pools of which, we only used two. At times we had them to ourselves, which was really great. Even at their busiest, there were only ever 6/8 people there. There was never an issue with getting sunbeds! There is a bar and two restaurants within walking distance (5 mins down the hill) - we visited both the Millennium Bar & Meil y Nata Mountain Restaurant only, both of which were fab. Everything else you will need either taxi or car (at least to get home) as its a good 25/30 min walk down the hill. There are several supermarkets at the bottom of the hill, inc a Lidl, 3 x Supersols and a Mercadona. All of these are spread over the "main Calahonda" area. There are also loads of other restaurants, bars, etc here as well. All in all, we've had a brilliant 5.5 weeks in Calahonda, with a fab apartment as our base.

Sat at the top of a hill, the apartment is lovely and quiet and has views down to the sea. It is about a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive down to the nearest bars/restaurants - watch out for the G&T's in Millennium, they're not exactly standard measures! Further afield are a number of very pleasant towns within a short drive - can definitely recommend Benahavis for restaurants and a stroll around (15 -20 minutes drive), along with the usual places others have mentioned. The apartment itself is very well presented and fitted out, with two bedrooms (a twin and a double), both en suite, plus a big sofa bed in the lounge if you have more people staying. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was all top quality stuff, and the large private balcony was fantastic. The communal pool was really well maintained, with plenty of sun-loungers, and we had the whole area to ourselves each time we visited. Overall, you can really tell that it is a home-from-home for the owners and we can't wait to go back.

Wanted to Visit Southern Spain, without breaking the bank - came across this little gem, reasonably priced for a spacious and high standard kitted apartment, with all the necessary amenities - underground parking , WIFI - Balcony with BBQ facility - great views. Overall a very comfortable stay, booking was easy , and if you are looking for that perfect tranquil retreat , sipping your Sangria / Cocktails in the evening in your balcony - followed by a candlelit dinner - this is the place for you. Nearby there is a golf course, I did not visit, as I spent most of my time near the pool and beautiful gardens. The booking was easy, on arrival we were greeted by " Terri and Adam" who gave us the keys, also great for asking them about the surrounding areas.

We have holidayed on this coast for the last twelve years, always staying in privately owned self catering apartments. Whilst our previous accommodation has been good, this apartment has stood out from the rest. So much so, that we have already booked for next year and we haven't even returned home yet! The booking process was excellent and when we arrived here we were met by a lovely couple called Terri & Adam. The apartment itself is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need to enable you to have an enjoyable holiday. The kitchen is very well equipped, the lounge and dining area very welcoming and spacious, and the bedrooms -each with their own en suite- very comfortable. There are candles in the fireplace and in hurricane lamps on the dining table, provided by the owners, for the guests to use at night, which create a lovely ambience. It's little touches like this which make this apartment special. The lounge area opens out onto a very large terrace which has beautiful views out over Calahonda down to the sea. This area is beautifully furnished with a dining table to seat six and two very comfortable sun loungers. All in all, we have had a wonderful holiday here, and can't wait to return next year. A perfect holiday in this lovely apartment in Calahonda which was located adjacent to the golf course and has stunning views towards the sea. The apartment is of highest standard and has a lovely terrace where we could chill out in the evenings with a BBQ. Everything we wanted and will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment very much. We were very impressed with the high standard of the furnishings and fitiings and the modern and tasteful decor .The living area was so spacious and you have a large balcony area which is ideal for eating outdoors. When we arrived Terri and Adam gave us a warm welcome and lots of useful advice about the area. In the apartment itself the owners had left useful information about the facilities in the area: restaurants,shops and local beaches and we found that Calahonda was an ideal location from which to discover the delights of Andalucia. We were able to park our hire car securely in the complex. It was approximately 2 hours to Granada, Cordoba and Seville. Ronda was closer and of course Mijas and Marbella are just down the road. We really liked the local beach, Luna beach and loved walking by the sea at Cabo Pino. Not all restaurants were open early in the year but we had a great paella at La Depensa (sp?)at Cabo Pino. And just down the road from the apartment Miel y Nata was always open, busy and pretty good. We had a lovely week and had great weather in February. We would recommend this apartment very highly.

Det kræver en bil, for at kunne komme rundt, men lejligheden ligger i rolige omgivelser, hvor man fra den meget store terrasse kan nyde udsigten mod havet. Vi har lejet lejligheden to gange, en gang med vennepar, som den er super til. Som udgangspunkt for golf, som vi har brugt den som, er den perfekt.
